1. About Zeitdocs

This Privacy Policy applies to all Atlassian Marketplace apps published under the Zeitdocs name.

2. GDPR Compliance

Zeitdocs is committed to complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws.

The customer organisation remains responsible for determining how personal data is used within its Atlassian environment. Zeitdocs only processes data as necessary to provide the functionality requested by the customer through the Apps.

3. Data Processed by the Apps

Depending on the App and its configuration, the Apps may access or process:

  • Atlassian site and installation identifiers;
  • page, space, project or content identifiers;
  • App configuration and settings;
  • Confluence or Jira content and metadata required by the selected functionality;
  • limited user context and permissions provided by Atlassian.

The Apps only access information required to provide their documented functionality.

4. Atlassian-Hosted Processing

Zeitdocs Apps are built and hosted entirely on Atlassian Forge.

All App data is processed and stored within Atlassian products and Atlassian-hosted infrastructure.

Zeitdocs does not:

  • operate external application servers, databases or storage;
  • transfer App data outside Atlassian;
  • use Forge Remotes or external processing services;
  • send App data to external analytics or telemetry platforms;
  • use customer data to train artificial intelligence models;
  • sell, rent or share data with third parties;
  • use data for advertising, profiling, marketing or commercial analytics.

Atlassian is the only infrastructure provider used to run the Apps and store App data.

5. Purpose of Processing

The Apps process information only to:

  • provide their documented functionality;
  • store and apply App configuration;
  • perform actions requested by authorised users;
  • verify user permissions;
  • maintain security;
  • investigate and correct technical problems.

Zeitdocs does not use App data for any unrelated purpose.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

App data follows the retention, deletion, backup and data-residency rules provided by Atlassian and Atlassian Forge.

Zeitdocs does not create or retain any external copy of App data.

Information stored within Jira or Confluence may remain until it is deleted by the customer or an authorised user.

Forge-hosted data is retained and deleted according to Atlassian’s applicable Forge data lifecycle and uninstallation policies.

7. Security

Zeitdocs relies on the security, isolation and hosting controls provided by Atlassian Forge.

The Apps are designed to:

  • request only the permissions required for their functionality;
  • minimise the information accessed and stored;
  • avoid unnecessary personal data;
  • prevent data from leaving Atlassian;
  • avoid external dependencies that process customer data.

Customers remain responsible for configuring their Atlassian permissions, access controls and App settings appropriately.

8. User Rights

Depending on applicable law, individuals may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of their personal data.

For information stored within a customer’s Jira or Confluence environment, users should first contact the organisation or Atlassian administrator responsible for that environment.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Zeitdocs may update this Privacy Policy when the Apps, Atlassian platform requirements or applicable laws change.

The latest version will always show its effective date and last updated date.
