Zeitdocs End User Terms
These End User Terms govern the use of Atlassian Marketplace apps published under the Zeitdocs name.
By installing, enabling or using an App, you agree to these Terms. If you use an App on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf.
1. Scope and Atlassian
These Terms apply to every Atlassian Marketplace app published by Zeitdocs that links to them (an “App”).
The Apps are provided by an independent Atlassian Marketplace Partner. Atlassian is not a party to these Terms.
Your use of Atlassian products, services and the Atlassian Marketplace remains subject to your separate agreement with Atlassian.
2. Right to Use the Apps
Zeitdocs grants you a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the Apps with compatible Atlassian products for your own business or organisational purposes.
You must not:
- sell, sublicense, rent or redistribute an App;
- circumvent technical or licensing restrictions;
- interfere with the operation or security of an App or Atlassian service;
- introduce malicious code;
- use an App unlawfully or to infringe third-party rights;
- reverse engineer or attempt to obtain its source code, except where applicable law expressly permits it.
3. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- your Atlassian users, permissions and access controls;
- the configuration and use of the Apps;
- the content and information processed through your Atlassian environment;
- determining whether an App is appropriate for your intended use;
- complying with laws, internal policies and third-party rights applicable to your use of an App.
4. Privacy and Data
Information accessed or processed by the Apps is handled in accordance with the Zeitdocs Privacy Policy.
The Apps are designed to process and store App data only within Atlassian products and Atlassian-hosted Forge infrastructure. Zeitdocs does not maintain an external copy of App data.
5. Availability, Support and Changes
Any pricing, subscription, billing, renewal or refund conditions are governed by the applicable Atlassian Marketplace listing and Atlassian’s relevant terms.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Zeitdocs does not provide a guaranteed service level, response time, resolution time or uptime commitment.
Zeitdocs may update, modify, suspend or discontinue an App or feature, including where necessary because of:
- security issues;
- legal or regulatory requirements;
- changes to Atlassian products, APIs or policies;
- technical compatibility;
- product development decisions.
Where reasonably practicable, material changes will be communicated through the Marketplace listing, documentation or support channel.
6. Intellectual Property and Product Limitations
Zeitdocs and its licensors retain all intellectual-property rights in the Apps, documentation, designs, trademarks, code and related technology.
The Apps provide supporting functionality within Atlassian products. They do not replace Atlassian permissions, access controls, encryption, data-loss-prevention tools, records-management systems, legal advice or organisational security and compliance processes.
Visual classifications, labels, warnings, reports or governance indicators provided by an App do not technically prevent users from accessing, copying, sharing, exporting or disclosing content and do not constitute a certification of legal or regulatory compliance.
7. Warranties and Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Apps are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Zeitdocs does not warrant that an App will:
- operate without interruption or errors;
- remain compatible with every Atlassian product or configuration;
- meet every legal, regulatory, security or business requirement;
- prevent data loss, misuse or unauthorised disclosure.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Zeitdocs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data or use arising from or related to an App.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
8. Termination
You may stop using an App and terminate these Terms at any time by uninstalling or disabling the App.
Zeitdocs may suspend or terminate your right to use an App if you:
- materially breach these Terms;
- use the App unlawfully;
- create a security risk;
- interfere with the App, Atlassian services or other users.
Following termination, data remaining within Atlassian is retained or deleted according to your actions, the App’s documented behaviour and Atlassian’s applicable platform policies.
9. Governing Law and Changes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain.
The courts of Barcelona, Spain have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
Zeitdocs may update these Terms to reflect changes to applicable law, Atlassian requirements, security practices or App functionality.
The updated Terms will include a revised effective date. If you do not accept an update, you must stop using and uninstall the relevant App.
